APHA to host two world-class horse shows in 2008
As many are aware, there has been discussion to host two world-class Paint Horse shows in 2008. A decision was made by the Executive Committee after considering feedback and comments from APHA directors, standing committees and members.
APHA is proud to announce the addition of a world-class fall specialty show for American Paint Horses. The Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas will be home to the November 6 – 15, 2008 show. After listening to the voices of its many members, APHA has welcomed a new fall show format. This show will feature new added money classes, slot classes, select Challenge and Sweepstakes classes and World Championship title classes for weanlings, yearlings and 2-year-old performance horses. The new format will allow a longer period of time for young horses to mature in order to compete on a world-class level.
The World Championship Paint Horse Show will take place June 22 – July 5, featuring Youth, Amateur, and Open events – with additional classes for novice youth exhibitors.
Final details and scheduling are still being considered so please stay tuned to learn more about APHA’s expanded world-class Paint Horse shows. |
