Calling All Judges!
Enroll in the APHA Educational Judges Academy &
Seminar
and learn what it takes to be a judge.
Whether you’ve picked your favorites from the sidelines, competed in a class and wondered about placings, or need to refresh your skills as a carded judge, the APHA Educational Judges Academy & Seminar is the place for you. Once again, we will be offering two sessions:
• The Academy for first-timers, exhibitors and those who would like to begin the process of learning to become a certified APHA judge. It is designed to educate those wishing to become judges or learn more about APHA rules. It offers guidelines for judging specific events. Taught by APHA-approved judges and qualified specialists in a classroom setting, the Academy’s curriculum includes discussions on judging procedures for a wide range of disciplines and a sample rulebook test.
• The Seminar for returning participants and card-holding APHA judges who need re-certification. This level has been added for those with a deeper knowledge of APHA judging procedures, and as an opportunity for carded APHA judges to meet their re-certification requirements. This will be an advanced course.
Enrollment is open to everyone who is interested, but is limited to the first sixty to enroll in each session. Simply click below, and return a completed enrollment form to APHA.
