If you want to saddle up on a real horse, don’t miss your chance to
attend Kids Day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 29, at the
American Paint Horse Association (APHA) headquarters, 2800 Meacham
Blvd., in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to the opportunity to ride a
real Paint Horse, you can learn how to groom and take care of a horse.
You can also visit a special animal petting area, enter a stick horse
barrel race, get free roping lessons and watch and learn from a real
cowboy trick roper.
Kids of all ages are also invited to join in a chuck wagon cookout.
The Cowtown Opry "Buckaroos" will also be on hand to entertain visitors
throughout the day.
The Kamikaze Kowgirls will also
be demonstrating their trick riding skills.
Paint Horse Pete, APHA’s popular mascot, will be here and he’s
looking forward to meeting you.
Thanks to local volunteers and establishments, this special event is
free and open to all children and their families.
So be sure to visit us and enjoy a real Western experience.
And tell your mom and dad to bring their camera!
