2007 Paint Preferred Winners
In front of the world of reining, a very special horse and rider combo,
Marcy Ver Meer and Colonels Nite Special scored high enough to win the
Intermediate Open division and lead the Open division until the very
last ride of the night. Finishing with a Reserve Champion title in the
Open division gave Marcy an incredible ride and earned her an additional
payout from the American Paint Horse Association's (APHA) Paint
Preferred Program. Colonels Nite Special is owned by Bar Double C Ranch
of Cave Creek, Arizona.
