From quick family favorites like Chicken Spaghetti to the conversation-igniting Fire and Ice Pickles, this comprehensive resource is filled with nearly 300 recipes from APHA members, directors, executive committee members, staff and APHF board and committee members. Proceeds raised by this one-of-a-kind reference directly benefit the APHF’s Youth Scholarship Fund.

The American Paint Horse Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to supporting youth scholarships, promoting equine research and preserving the heritage of the American Paint Horse. Since its inception, the tax-exempt Foundation Youth Scholarship Fund has awarded 440 scholarships worth more than $440,000 to exemplary young horsemen and –women.

The Foundation Cookbook received a helping hand from Bob and Linda
Byrom of Diamond 2B Show Horses in Sanger, Texas. Head trainer and
general manager Kelley Deignan-Stone explained why the farm, which has produced many world champion Paint Horses, decided to become involved with the project.

“This breed grants so many opportunities for countless children and young adults, that investing with the Foundation is an investment in the future of the next generation of great Paint Horses and industry leaders,” said Deignan-Stone.
