| Pfizer Animal Health makes sponsor
commitment to APHA members
FORT WORTH, Texas—The American Paint Horse Association (APHA)
recently announced a new partnership with Pfizer Animal Health.
Naming Pfizer as a 2008 Corporate Sponsor was an important step for
the association as Pfizer specifically chose to enter into a
relationship with APHA as a result of the association’s member
enthusiasm and the special place the American Paint Horse holds in
the U.S. horse industry.
APHA’s newest partnership is sure to be a winning combination, with
the association’s continued position as one of the largest horse
breed associations in the world and Pfizer’s strength in equine
health. Pfizer offers Paint Horse enthusiasts an array of products
backed by science and designed to support optimum health for all
types of horses. As part of Pfizer’s relationship with APHA, the
company plans to host an educational seminar on equine health and
management for all attendees at APHA’s 38th Annual APHA Convention
and Membership Meeting, which will be held October 2-4 in San Diego,
California
“APHA is honored to partner with the largest research-based
pharmaceutical company in the world,” said Executive Director Lex
Smurthwaite. “Pfizer is a natural fit for APHA because Paint Horse
members truly value the health and well-being of their horses and
Pfizer has discovered and developed some of the leading products that
can help horses live longer, healthier lives. We plan for this to be
a long and mutually-beneficial partnership.”
