| American Paint Horse breed will be
showcased at 2010 World Equestrian Games
FORT WORTH, Texas – The excitement is building for the
approaching 2010 FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games to be held
in Lexington, Kentucky, September 25-October 10, 2010. The
American Paint Horse Association (APHA) will spotlight the
American Paint Horse breed through a booth at the Equine Village
in partnership with top clinician Lynn Palm and her talented
American Paint Horse, Rugged Painted Lark.

The American Paint Horse Association booth, in
conjunction with Palm Partnership Training and Alliance
Saddles, will be located in the Equine Village. An APHA
representative will be on-hand to answer questions about
the breed and the Association. Plenty of free literature
and Paint Horse souvenirs will be available as well. The
village will also offer entertainment, educational
activities and lectures from equine industries.
Palm will hold several bridleless demonstrations throughout
the event in several disciplines including Western, dressage and
jumping showcasing the versatility and athleticism of the
American Paint Horse breed. Palm will also be available to
answer training questions and sign autographs.
“We have created the Equine Village to serve as an
educational experience for the Games’ spectators about different
breeds, disciplines and all that the equine industry
encompasses,” said Jamie Link, CEO of the World Games 2010
Foundation.
“It is certainly an honor to have the American Paint Horse
breed represented at the largest equine sporting event ever held
in the United States,” said Lex Smurthwaite, Executive Director
of APHA.
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be held on the
grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, with approximately 600,000
tickets to be sold, spectators will come from around the world
to attend this event that incorporates education and
