Shop 'til you show

FORT WORTH, Texas—Since it is hard to find that perfect store that offers one-stop shopping, the American Paint Horse Association is bringing it to you. With more than 100 exhibits, the APHA's Colors of the West Trade Show and Exhibition promises something for everyone who is interested in horses or the Western lifestyle.

Opening June 26, the trade show is held in conjunction with the World Championship Paint Horse Show, scheduled June 27-July 8, at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Vendors will display their products in the spacious Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall.

"Shoppers will find merchandise from a wide variety of well-known manufacturers and designers," said Gina Phipps, trade show coordinator. "Our commercial exhibitors will offer everything a horse-lover could want. They will find everything equine-related from trailers to tack and clothing to farm supplies. This shopper's extravaganza will offer hard to find products that are not readily available in most areas."

Shoppers can also browse the General Store for official APHA and World Show merchandise, offered by its corporate sponsor Pro-Line Western Sportgear. Located in the northwest end of the exhibit hall, the Collection offers the latest Paint Horse fashions and products.

In addition, outdoor commercial exhibitors will be located along the sidewalks of the Will Rogers Equestrian Center. Trade show hours are noon to 6:30 p.m. on June 26, and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on June 27-29, July 2-6 and 8. The trade show will be open for extended hours from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 30, and July 1 and 7.
