Winners will take home NCHA, NRHA, NSBA trophies
Big money, prestigious trophies on the line at 2001 World Championship Paint Horse Show

FORT WORTH, Texas-Winners of the First USA Challenge Series will be earning more than big paybacks at the 2001 World Championship Paint Horse Show, with the addition of beautiful trophies being donated by three prestigious associations.

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) will donate a special trophy to the winners of the 3-Year-Old Cutting Challenge and 4-Year-Old Cutting Challenge.

A National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) trophy will go to the winner of the 3-year-old Reining Challenge.

The National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) has agreed to donate trophies to the winners of the 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure Challenge and the 3-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle Challenge.

"The cooperative efforts of these associations help support our promotion of Cutting, Reining, Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle competition at our World Show," said Jim Kelley, APHA assistant executive secretary. "This will be a nice addition to the added money we have planned for Challenge Series competition this year."

$25,000 added
The Challenge Series, which debuted at APHA's World Championship Paint Horse Show, features $25,000 in added money this year.
