Elected by their peers to head the organization in the coming year, members of the Executive Committee set APHA policy and are responsible for the association’s activities, employees and fiscal integrity. The election of these officers comes at a time when APHA is experiencing record growth. In October, APHA membership stood at a record level of 108,420 active participants in the organization.
To date, APHA has registered more than 793,000 American Paint Horses in 48 nations and territories around the world. Although the association has been in existence for 42 years, nearly two thirds of its total registrations have occurred in the past 10 years alone. In addition, APHA registers approximately 50,000 new American Paint Horses every year, making it one of the most popular and fastest-growing breed registries in the world.
Among its many activities, APHA works to preserve bloodlines and maintain the outstanding characteristics of the American Paint Horse breed.
