re-elects Eldora man to high post
FORT WORTH, TEXAS—Gregg Reisinger of Eldora, Iowa, was
recently elected to serve as the senior committee member on the
American Paint Horse Association’s (APHA’s) 2010 Executive
Committee. His re-election, and third term on the Executive
Committee, came during the association’s recent 39th APHA Annual
Convention in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Gregg Reisinger of

The Executive Committee on which Reisinger serves is
the governing body that sets APHA policy and is
responsible for the association’s activities and fiscal
integrity.
Reisinger got his start in the Paint
Horse industry as a youth, when he worked as a buyer for
his father’s auction company. Through the years,
Reisinger has gained a reputation for turning out top
Western and English pleasure Paint Horses. In 2006, he
was the lifetime leading breeder of both halter
point-earners and performance horses according to APHA’s
year-end Honor Roll. Reisinger has also served APHA in
official capacities, including as a national director
for all but seven years since 1980.
Reisinger was
instrumental in the formation and success of APHA in the
early 1960s.
Reisinger is joined on an executive
committee that includes President Linda Vance of
Winlock, Wash.; President-elect Dr. Travis Titlow of
Lincoln, Calif.; Vice President Scot Jackson of
Stephenville, Texas; Fifth Committee Member Mary Parrott
of Ruston, La.; Sixth Committee Member Ron Shelly of
Georgetown, Texas and Immediate Past President John
Corbin of Colorado Springs, Colo.
