Show Results Reminders
- Recording the number of entries in a class - Be sure to record all entries that exhibited in each class including disqualifications and no-scores. Even when all entries are disqualified by the judge(s), the entries must be entered in the roster and reported on the final show results. If a horse is disqualified, it is not to be placed, regardless of the number of horses in a class, but counts as an entry in the class when determining the total number of entries.
- Disqualifications due to wrong entry number – When an entry has shown with the wrong entry number and is therefore disqualified, the APHA needs to know the correct number of the entry exhibited.
- Please enter the correct entry number and horse on the results roster/edit/diskette.
- The judges should initial the corrections on their cards, however; if this is not possible, the show secretary should initial any changes related to wrong entry numbers along with a brief notation on the cards indicating the same.
(e.g. DQ – wrong back #)
- It is also helpful to include a brief note of explanation along with your results alerting the APHA of these situations. This will prevent unnecessary delays in processing your show results.
