Review:

Jamie has utilized candid photos of horses living in a pasture to create this heartwarming story to be enjoyed by young and old alike. This story brings to life a birthday party for a young horse in a pasture filled with fun and games surrounded by his family and friends.
Once at the end of the book one finds a glossary and a wheel of characters. These provide fuel to identify each horse and usage of the glossary words in the book. I watched in amazement as my grandchildren went back through the book page by page searching for "Derby" and "Rey" and all of the other horses, or looking for the "foals".
I have bought a dozen copies of these enchanting books, and always found myself going back for more. I'm looking forward to the next delightful addition.
