Fees: Reservations are due by April 1, 2008. A minimum $35 donation is requested for riders, who will receive a special “Saddle Up for St. Jude” T-shirt, lapel pin and other ride souvenirs.

APHA will partner with Benbrook Stables to host a special Saddle Up for St. Jude’s benefit trail ride on May 3 around beautiful Lake Benbrook, near Fort Worth, Texas.

Following the 10-mile ride, APHA will host a cookout while trick riders and ropers perform on their talented American Paint Horses. Guests will also enjoy musical entertainment and can participate in a special auction featuring valuable gift items.

APHA’s goal is to raise several thousand dollars to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital treat and discover cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses. Last year, the ride raised more than $12,000.

All ride proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
